Membership is a great way to show your support for the Seattle Public Library, help fund library programs, and encourage reading in our community.
The Friends fund programs such as job skills classes and movie screenings at branch libraries, subsidize the “Raising a Reader” program which serves children of low-income and immigrant families, and provides classroom books for the “Books for Teachers” sale. Your membership dues, patronage at book sales, and donations support the continuation of these and other programs.
Join the Friends today! Membership is only $20 (plus $1 bank fee for online orders). Memberships are for the calendar year, January to December. Memberships purchased now are good through 2018.
